These Terms govern your use of the CarPin app (the "Service") provided by VyxWorks ("we", "us"), including your rights, obligations, and our respective responsibilities.
1. Purpose and scope
These Terms apply to every download, install, and use of the Service from the App Store. By installing or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
2. The service
CarPin is a parking companion app for iOS and watchOS offering:
- GPS-based saving of your parking spot with return guidance
- Favorite places with geofence notifications
- Photo and note capture for parking entries
- Apple Watch companion
- iOS home-screen widget and share extension
3. Accounts
No sign-up or account is required. All user data is stored locally on your device.
4. Eligibility
- Supported devices: iPhone running iOS 26 or later and Apple Watch running watchOS 26 or later.
- Minimum age: 13 (or the higher age required in your country).
- Regions: countries where the App Store distributes the app.
5. In-app purchase and refunds
5.1 Products
CarPin offers one-time purchases only via Apple StoreKit 2; there are no subscriptions. Currently available items are theme and icon packs.
5.2 Payment processing
Apple processes all payments; we do not access card or bank data.
5.3 Refunds
Refunds follow the Apple App Store policy. You can request refunds at Apple Support.
5.4 Restore purchases
Use the "Restore Purchases" action in-app to retrieve content purchased with the same Apple ID.
6. Your responsibilities
- Backups — we provide no server-side backup. You are responsible for protecting your data via iCloud device backup or similar.
- Lost or reset devices — local data cannot be recovered after a device is lost or reset.
- Location accuracy — parking accuracy depends on GPS, your input, and device sensors.
7. Intellectual property
- All rights in the CarPin source code, UI, design, logo, and documentation belong to VyxWorks.
- User-generated content (photos and notes) you enter into the Service is yours; we do not store or use it on our servers.
8. Prohibited conduct
You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, copy, modify, or redistribute the app
- Bypass in-app purchase or use forged receipts
- Collect or use another person's location without consent
- Harm the security of the Service or other users' devices
9. Disclaimer
- We are not liable for inaccuracies in parking locations caused by GPS error or map data mismatch.
- The Service is provided "as-is" without warranty of fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted operation.
- We are not responsible for losses caused by failures of third-party services such as Google Mobile Ads SDK.
- We are not responsible for unavailability caused by force majeure, network outages, or Apple platform policy changes.
- These limitations apply only to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law and do not limit our liability for willful misconduct or gross negligence.
10. Changes and termination of the service
- We may add, modify, or discontinue parts or all of the Service upon prior notice.
- Removal of major features or full discontinuation will be announced at least 30 days in advance via in-app notice or on this site.
11. Governing law and disputes
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
- The Seoul Central District Court shall be the court of first instance for any dispute arising from the Service.
- Mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence still apply where required.
12. Changes to these terms
We may amend these Terms in compliance with applicable law. Amendments will be posted at least 7 days in advance via in-app notice or on this page; changes that materially disadvantage users will be posted at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
